13 Dutch research universities ranked in the top 200
For the first time all 13 Dutch research universities are represented in the top 200 of the renowned Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
Delft University of Technology is with a 59th place the highest ranked Dutch university. The University of Amsterdam, Wageningen University, Erasmus University, Leiden University, University of Groningen, Utrecht University and Maastricht University are also gained a place among the best 100 universities.
After the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, the Netherlands has the most institutions in the top 200. The Times Higher Education ranking looks, among others, into research, teaching quality and international activities of the universities.
